In my original account I had 2FA active but it was still hacked. Possibly because I had my device trusted, the password saved on my browser and the attack includes the retrieval of all saved passwords in the victims browser. It is common practice to trust a device while having the 2FA. Obviously we cannot do a 2FA each and every time that we would like to see our feeds!

Here is however what I practice in my new account. The account is created using my telephone number and has no email attached to it. 2FA has been activated too. (I hope that) If/when the hacker would like to lock me out, the only solution for him will require access to my authenticator. Which (I hope) will be much more difficult.

I am sorry that I can be of no more help. I have reported the case even to CISA and lets see with what the will come up. Having Facebook locking us out is not the solution.

PS. We have not been hacked by this person. We have been hacked by a Chinese/Russian criminal outfit, with connections to countries like Brazil and Iran. They just happen to use the name of this Vietnamese comedian in our case. They are using many other names. I do not know the quantity of the variety.

Please do not forget to FORMAT your laptop/PC. Their code is low level and undetectable by ALL major antivirus programs.
